I created Moody Blooms because I believe in the power of plants. The power to connect and calm the mind, body, and spirit through surrounding yourself with the natural beauty and strength that plants yield. Nature should be accessible. Your green thumb or design abilities shouldn’t prevent you from enjoying the restoration that plants can bring to the soul of your space.
At Moody Blooms, we custom tailor projects from our variety of services to make not only the execution of your vision, but also the long-term care and maintenance of it, as simple and relaxing as taking a walk through nature.

Hi. I’m Grace Moody, founder of Moody Blooms. I’ve been in the plant business for more than a decade. I began my plant journey by apprenticing under Mary Henry of M.Henry Designs as a floral designer for weddings and events. I then earned my degree in Horticulture and certification in Floral Design, which allowed me to work as Sneed Nursery’s lead custom container designer and installer. Along with creating the custom containers of my clients’ dreams, I had the privilege of teaching gardening and planting-related classes at Sneed’s outdoor classroom and at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens. Some of the classes included DIY Floral Chic: Boutonnieres and Corsages, Seed Saving, and Container Gardening 101. Now, I’ve honed my experience and education into my own business - Moody Blooms, established in 2022.

Creating a space that reflects who you are and what you do can seem like an impossible task. You may know exactly what you want it to look like in your mind or on your Pinterest board, but struggle when it comes to making it happen in real life.

Book your complimentary consultation.
Fill out your outreach form. You will then receive an email from us that contains our calendar and availability. You can book either a discovery call or on-site consultation depending on the service requested.
Tell us your goals.
During your consultation, we'll walk through your space to get a feel for your general aesthetic and to conceptualize your vision. We'll also discuss and softly decide on the service (s) that will get the job done.
Confirm the plan.
A detailed proposal will be provided up front after the consultation. We will amend anything that doesn’t perfectly align with your vision to make sure there is complete transparency before moving forward.
Its transformation time
Depending on the scope of the project, installation can range from a half day to multiple days to complete. From start to finish, Moody Blooms will handle all material pickup, installation, and clean up.

We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and online payment platforms for your convenience. Our invoices facilitate quick and easy payments.
We require a 25% deposit upfront to secure your booking and initiate the design process. The remaining balance is due within 30 days upon project completion.
Primarily the greater Richmond area. Travel outside this radius may incur additional costs.
Yes. We understand that maintaining the beauty and health of your plants requires consistent care and attention. That's why we offer customizable maintenance packages for both business and residential clients.
